Whole House Shade Control

The Home Control for Shades provides access to whole house shade controls and scenes in the system in one location.

The Shades tile icon indicates OPEN when all shades are open and CLOSED when some or all of the shades are closed. To control whole house shades and scenes, tap the Shades tile.

Whole House Shades

Control and view the status of the shades in each room and room group in the Shades tab.

To collapse and expand room groups, select the Room Group. The room group's collapsed or expanded state persists in the app until it is changed.

Room Group Shades

Room groups that have rooms with shades are shown in the whole house shades page. Rooms that control all shades in the room group:

  • If all shades are closed, open all shades in the room group by selecting All Open.
  • If all shades are open, close all shades in the room group by selecting All Close.

Room Shades

Control shades in individual rooms:

  • Tap a room tile to open or close the shades. The All Open or All Close shade scene is recalled.

  • Select  Menu to open the Shades Control page for the room and control the shades individually or recall shade scenes. To return to the whole house shades screen, swipe down or select  Close.

Reorder Rooms

Reorder the rooms within the room group.

To reorder rooms, tap and hold the room and then drag it to the desired location within the room group.

Recall whole house shade scenes in the Scenes tab.
